How would you handle a situation with a family member or friend you see doing wrong? This wrong they are doing is so serious that it could even lead to their death!

There is no way to avoid causing them pain: The truth will hurt them when you tell them, but if you don’t, it can cause their death! Would you have the courage to tell them the truth and spare their life, or would you hold back?

I am sure you would tell them the truth even though it would cause some pain, but you know the result would be much more beneficial!

It’s the same with the Lord Jesus. He is always ready to tell us the “naked truth.”

Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin. And a slave does not abide in the house forever, but a son abides forever. Therefore, if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.”

“I know that you are Abraham’s descendants, but you seek to kill Me, because My word has no place in you. I speak what I have seen with My Father, and you do what you have seen with your father.” (John 8:34-38)

At first glance, these verses may seem harsh, but it is the reality:

God’s truth may hurt, but it heals.
The devil lies hurt to kill.

What naked truth have you been avoiding?

Today is the day to accept this truth, even though it might cause you pain. But It is for your good, not for your destruction. Go ahead, accept God’s truth and enjoy the freedom that comes with it.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
