Many physical things differentiate us. Whether it be hair color, eye color, or height, even our blood and fingerprints are not the same. These differences make us unique, but what is even more special is the access that each and every one of us have to the Lord Jesus. The Word of God tells us very clearly:

“For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

This means that despite the differences—in eye color, height, age, background, or ethnicity—when we call upon God, He hears us. He doesn’t look at any physical feature or external characteristics because He only sees our soul. Maybe you’ve never had this kind of relationship with God. You’ve never called upon Him because you thought you were too different.

You thought you had to have perfect attendance inside a church, look a certain way, or live a certain life to approach Him. Well, you can put those concerns aside because God is calling you just as you are. It’s easy to get caught up in the physical, but before God, we are all the same. Your soul is what He sees when He looks at you.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
