Many people come to God looking for healing, financial breakthrough, open doors, or relief from life’s struggles. While God certainly cares about our needs and blesses His children, His greatest purpose for us is not just temporary comfort on earth—it is the salvation of our souls.

Imagine a person stranded at sea. Someone throws them a warm blanket, food, and water. Those things help for the moment, but what they truly need is rescue. Without rescue, the comfort is only temporary. In the same way, physical blessings are good, but salvation is the true rescue God offers through Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we become so focused on what God can give us that we forget the greatest gift He already gave—eternal life. Healing may restore the body, prosperity may improve life, and breakthroughs may solve problems, but salvation secures our eternity with God.

Jesus reminded us of this truth in:

Mark 8:36—“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?”

The greatest miracle is a saved soul.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
