Regret is one of the worse feeling you can experience.
Those harsh words toward your mom or dad when you were angry… and perhaps those words turned out to be the last words they heard from you? What a painful experience, and the feelings of regret that flooded in after were even worse.
Peter experienced feelings of regret when he denied the Lord Jesus.
When the rooster crowed for the second time, Peter immediately remembered what Jesus had warned him about;
“Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept. Mark 14:72
What warning signs have you been seeing in your life lately?
Is it a friendship that is not healthy for you? Or a place that you need to stop visiting?
Is it the actions you are taking? Or the constant deception on the job/school?
Peter did not pay attention to the first crow (the first warning) but he finally got it on the second crow. The sad thing is, it was too late!
This message is the first crow for you (the first warning). Don’t wait for the second before recognizing what you need to resolve. It might be too late.
Take a moment to do a self examination. Once you identify things/actions that will cause regrets later on, my advice for you is to stop doing them right now. Change your direction immediately and you will certainly change your life.
May the God of the Bible bless you,
Bishop Bira Joshua
