To submit: to accept or yield to a superior force or authority.
Probably you have never realized it, but every day we submit ourselves to so many things and situations; maybe you have been submitting to doctors, psychiatrists, lawyers, etc.
You submit to treatments, procedures, and tests. You were introduced to counselors, pastors, churches, and institutions. You’ve submitted to just about everything that has been thrown at you.
But look at the way your life is going at the moment… You’re still in the same situation. Perhaps with the same issues.
The word of God says:
“Therefore submit to God. resist the devil, and he will flee from you .” James 4:7
If you decide today, to submit 100% to God, you will be free from everything that has been dominating you.
When you resist alcohol, depression, suicidal thoughts, negative feelings, temptations and everything that is bad… you are resisting the devil.
By doing these two things, you will change your life:
1. Submit to God
2. Resist the devil
