There was a war in heaven, and Michael and his angels fought against the dragon. The devil fought back.
“War broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought,” (Revelation 12:7)
We are fighting against an invisible enemy, one that is not flesh and blood.
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
This is not a natural battle; it is a spiritual battle.
To overcome a spiritual enemy, we must be strong in the spirit.
