From the day of our birth until now we have learned so much: how to walk, how to talk, how to take care of our necessities. Our parents (or carers) were the first to teach us the basic steps of life. Then came the school teachers who taught us many other things.

Do you remember your Kindergarten Teacher?

What about your first-grade teacher?

Or your college professor?

Do you remember the name of your driving instructor?

Most likely, you only remember the teachers who made an impact in your life – be it good or bad.

Many adults find themselves feeling a little lost or at times need direction but no longer have mom, dad or school teacher to run to. Well, there is no need for you to worry, because the greatest teacher of all is the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit teaches us clearly and correctly. He gives us the wisdom to solve our daily problems like none other. The Holy Spirit leads us to make the right decisions regarding our entire life. His instructions will never fail you! And will never allow you to be put to shame. However, He will not force Himself upon you. There is no government law that requires you to seek His guidance. It has to come from yourself. You must put in the work and take it upon yourself to seek the Holy Spirit.

“Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Luke 12:11-12

Imagine the kind of wisdom to speak before great authorities and know what to say, without preparing your words in advance! This only happens through the wisdom of God. That’s the kind of wisdom He wants to give to you!

Now the question is, have you been seeking Him often enough? Well if you are feeling lost, alone, confused and hopeless, then perhaps this is the direction you need to seek for! Put in the work, allow the Holy Spirit to be your now and forever teacher!

May the God of the Bible bless you.
