No one likes walking around in total darkness. You probably remember the last time you walked in the dark and bumped your foot on a piece of furniture in your house. Entering a dark house is undoubtedly a challenge. To move  around inside that house entirely in the dark will first of all make you feel nervous about being unable to see clearly.

We can compare the present world to that kind of dark house. Many are bumping their feet on the problems. Just as being in a place lacking light is unpleasant, living in this world without true light is utterly destructive.

The world is in the dark, and the people living in that same darkness suffer.

Many try to find the light in the evil things and places, such as in drinking, parties, drugs, extramarital affairs, casinos, and other things that seem pleasant but are nothing more than darkness.

If you find yourself in the dark looking for a light, see what the Bible says:

“I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” John 8:12

Let Jesus in. He will bring the security, confidence, certainty, and peace you need.

When He enters your life, the darkness does not remain, like when you turn on the light in a room.

Turn on the light in your life. Don’t trade your light for the darkness of this world.

Remember that everything on earth is temporary. So keep your salvation, and don’t let your light be turned off.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
