Imagine if you could hear the thoughts of people around you!

You would know what everyone genuinely thought about you and if someone was honest with you or not.  It would be a great experience… but you might be disappointed after finding out that some people weren’t honest with you.

In fact, we don’t know what everyone thinks, but God does!

He knows what’s deep inside of you and what you will say, before you say it. God knows your intentions, and He knows what’s inside your heart.

But, even though God knows you better than you know yourself:

He wants your sincere prayer.

He wants you to be honest about your shortcomings in life.

He wants you to express what you are going through in your own words. He wants to know how you feel.

What He doesn’t want from you is insincerity. It means ‘pretending to be someone you’re not.’

The Bible says:

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up;

You understand my thought afar off.
You comprehend my path and my lying down,

And are acquainted with all my ways.
For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.” Psalms 139

God knows everything about you and if you have a sincere heart about what you’ve done, your sins and mistakes don’t affect God’s love for you.

God doesn’t want us to be perfect. He wants us to have a sincere heart before Him. God will never despise a sincere heart.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
