Who was your favorite superhero?
Spiderman?
Superman?
Batman?
The Flash?
Each of those Superheroes had a specific strength, and you know how it goes… When you are watching a scene with a battle, you shout at the screen,“Use this power,” “Use that power,” as if they could have heard you!
Nevertheless, you shouted, of course, that superpower was used to defeat the enemy!
You left that movie room feeling like you overcame the enemy because you were on the winning team. Wow, what a feeling! Maybe even now, as an adult, you still enjoy watching your favorite superhero defeat the enemy.
What a flashback that was. Let us come back to reality. There is someone more than a Superhero: The God of the Bible.
It’s not a scene from a movie, and it is real.
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?” (Psalm 8:3-4)
The work of His fingers, how powerful is that? There is no problem you can face that is impossible for the God of the Bible to solve, to defeat. He even defeated death on the cross!
Unlike the movie scene, you don’t need to shout. God is right where you are; present your case to Him.
No sickness, addiction, or family problem can resist the touch of His finger. Go ahead and present your case to Him. He is more than a Superhero; He is God almighty, and nothing is impossible for Him.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
