When you stand in front of the mirror, it reveals the reality of your appearance at that present moment.
If mirrors didn’t exist, you would not know if anything on you needed to be fixed before going out.
Through a mirror, you can see your face, body, and hair. An identify exactly what is good and what is bad on you.
Likewise, the Bible says:
“As in water the face reflects the face,
So the heart of a man reveals the man.” Proverbs 27:19
Your actions show who you are. What is inside your heart reveals what is in your soul.
To understand your heart, you need to examine it. I’m not talking about your physical heart, I mean your soul.
If you have resentment, anger, lies, sin, and iniquity in your heart, it’s time to pour out your heart before the Lord.
Look within you. Is there something that needs to be changed?
Examine your behavior and decide for yourself, because it shows what is inside of you.
I am not trying to condemn you through this message, but I do hope you take a “look in the mirror” (yes the pun is intended) and see what needs to be change. Your future depends on it.
