“Talk is cheap.” Meaning it’s easier to say something than to back it up with actions. This perfectly describes the world we live in today. Social Media depicts this very well. No one shows their downfall when they share a photo. It’s their newest purchase or accomplishment. All the ways they have succeeded, but more often than not, it is a facade, made to show off before others.
The truth is there is no one to impress. Wouldn’t it be more satisfying to actually have a happy life than to boast about one that doesn’t exist? Don’t worry about telling people about your life, wins, and purchases because your life is not meant to impress anyone but to glorify God’s name.
The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s;
But the earth He has given to the children of men.
The dead do not praise the Lord,
Nor any who go down into silence.
But we will bless the Lord
From this time forth and forevermore.
Praise the Lord!
Psalms 115:16-18
When your life is blessed by God, you won’t need to say a word because there will be living proof of the glory of God.
