God desires His house to be a place of prayer, worship, and peace. In Isaiah 56:7, He says, “For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.” As believers, our homes should be an extension of God’s house—a place where His presence is welcomed.
Think about charging your phone. It may work for a while on a low battery, but if it’s never connected to its power source, it will eventually shut down. In the same way, your home needs to stay connected to God through prayer and His Word if you want it to be filled with His peace.
If your home life is difficult right now, don’t lose heart. Continue praying for your family and place them into God’s hands. God can restore broken relationships and bring peace where there has been disagreement. Keep trusting Him, even when you don’t see immediate change. As you seek the Lord, let your home become a place that reflects His peace and His presence.
