When a fighter enters the ring, he has one target: overcoming his opponent. He knows whom he is fighting. His fight is not with the referee or those who are watching the fight; his fight is only with his opponent.

When we know whom we are fighting, our battle is halfway won. Many are fighting an uphill battle because they have yet to realize whom they are fighting. Some are facing problems in their family and are fighting against those in their households, thinking this will change things. Others are not moving forward in their profession and believe their boss or coworkers are holding them back. While some are facing health problems and believe it is just “ bad genes.” The list goes on. Fighting and fighting but never overcoming their opponent.

“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12

Your fight is with the evil that is working to destroy your life. Don’t fight against your family, your boss, or your health. Take the fight to the devil. He is the one who wants to see your life destroyed. You won’t be fighting alone. God is in your corner.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
