Imagine being indestructible. Yes, imagine being just like a superhero. No flame would be too hot and no water too deep because you would be able to overcome them all. Well, for the children of God that is a reality. They are superheroes.
No, not the kind that walk around with an “S” on their chest but the kind who go through the troubles of life and overcome. Take a look at what the word of God says:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.” Isaiah 43:2
When the Spirit of God lives in you, He gives you the power to take on any battle. Although a life with God does not mean a life without problems. It does mean you will always be stronger than those problems. What has been the flame that has risen against you? An illness, a family problem, depression? Turn to God, focus on Him more than the problem. Seek strength and direction from Him, and allow Him to make you indestructible.
