How do you react when you receive good news?

For example; you had money blocked for a long time, then you get that call saying that the money was released? How do you feel?

Do you get angry?

I’m sure you wouldn’t get angry. On the contrary you would feel overwhelmed with joy!

This is my advise to you;

When good things come,  praise the Lord… but when bad things happen, glorify God because He is with you.

Don’t get me wrong, that does not mean that you will accept the problems.

You must reject the problems and fight against them.

For example; if the doctor says you are sick, you must believe that through this disease you will have a great testimony and give thanks to God in advance for your healing.

Take a look at the example of the Lord Jesus after He was betrayed:

“…the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it… 1 Corinthians 11:23-24

Can you image?

It was on the same night that He was betrayed!

Did he complain and reject the others?

Did he cancel the Lord’s Supper?

Did He say NEVER AGAIN will I trust anyone!

No, He continued with His mission!

This is a great example to follow.

No matter who betrayed you, continue to fight and overcome your daily battles. God is with you and for you.

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Bira Joshua
