I believe that worldwide, when you have an emergency and need immediate help, you have to call a certain number. The number may vary by country but the purpose remains the same.

When we need immediate help, we don’t wait.

For example, we normally wait a full year before going for the annual checkup.
On the other hand, if you are at home fixing something and you fall from a ladder and break your arm, you would immediately call the emergency number in order get help right away.

Someone had an emergency in the Bible and they cried out for help:

“But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, “Lord, save me!” And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?” Matthew 14:30-31

No matter what you are facing right now, the hands of the Lord Jesus are stretched out to you; to catch you, to save you, to take you out of that situation. And you don’t need an emergency number in order to call Him. You can call on Him from right where you are. Go on, do it now. Tell God exactly what you need and allow Him to provide emergency care for you.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
