Everyone wants to be a winner. No one enters into a race or a competition with plans to lose. No one enjoys the feeling of defeat. No one starts something, already planning to fail at it. We all thirst for success and desire to overcome in life. 

If I ask the question, who wants to overcome in life? The answer would be simple, everyone. Who wants to overcome tribulations? Everyone. Who wants to be victorious? Everyone. Everyone wants, but not everyone does. 

The Word of God says;

“Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19”

Spiritually speaking, God is saying, I give you power over the powers of darkness. He said “nothing shall by any means hurt you”. What authority is this that God is talking about? What is this power? It is the Holy Spirit!


Those who have the Holy Spirit overcome everything. They are not destroyed, no matter what happens in their life. The greatest power that you can ever receive is the power of the Holy Spirit inside of you. And that is why you must take every opportunity to seek Him. If there is a night vigil or special service or fasting, you should always participate in it to strengthen your relationship with God and to seek the Holy Spirit for yourself. Because when He is in you, you will always conquer.
