There’s a game you may have played as a child.

You climb high and jump into your mother or father’s arms.

Someway or somehow, you just knew they would catch you. It was pure instinct. You didn’t have to overthink it; you just believed in them.

It’s hard to find that kind of unwavering trust nowadays. It seems to be, “Every man is for himself.” If you jump, you doubt someone will be there to catch you.

Maybe at this moment, you are going through one of the hardest times of your life. Perhaps you have got bad news or a diagnosis, are struggling to support your family, and the problems go on for miles.

However, you are going through it all on your own.

There’s no need for that. You are, indeed, not alone.

Cast your cares on the Lord
and He will sustain you;
Psalms 55:22

It’s not a matter of if He will do His part but a question as to whether or not you are ready to throw it all in His hands. He isn’t a human being. He won’t let you down. Just as you threw yourself into your parent’s arms, throw your worries, cares, and life into God’s hands.

He will never drop you.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
