One of the characteristics of a mother is knowing how her child is feeling. You probably remember the last time your mother looked at you and immediately identified that you were sad, happy, worried, or that you needed a word of encouragement.

God also knows you. Maybe today you are feeling helpless, sad, and tired, or you have made bad decisions and are suffering the consequences of them.

God knows you deep down and he knows what’s inside of you. He sees your desire to change. He sees your actions, your successes, and your failures. And He made a promise for those who are thirsty for change.

“I will put My Spirit within you and make you walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and fulfill them.” (Ezekiel 36:27)

God does not look for perfect people; He perfects His chosen ones. He chooses you!

Start your walk with God today. The first step is to make a sincere prayer, and just tell Him how you feel and what you are going through. Just as a child depends on his parents, depend on God. Acknowledge that you need God in your life.

Keep His Word and strive to practice it every day. Then, with His Holy Spirit, God will help you with your imperfections. You are a work in progress, allow God to transform you from the inside out.

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Joshua Fonseca
