Right now, you may be doing what is right, bringing your concerns to God consistently. However, the problems before you make you wonder if your prayers are actually being heard.
The Bible gives a clear answer to that. In Exodus 3:7, God says, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people… I have heard their cry… I know their sufferings.”
God is not unaware, and He is not indifferent.
Faith isn’t based on how quickly circumstances improve. It’s based on who God is. The Bible shows us that He sees, He hears, and He knows—even when there is no immediate change in the situation.
Think about when a seed is planted. After it’s placed in the ground, there’s no immediate sign of growth. Days can pass where the soil looks unchanged, and it might seem like nothing is happening at all. But beneath the surface, change is already happening.
Just because you don’t see results right away doesn’t mean God isn’t working on your behalf. There is work happening that you can’t yet see, so don’t give up.
This isn’t based on the word of any human being, but based on the Word of God. He promises that He is listening to you.
If you’re in a moment where you feel like your prayers are not working, remember what is written: God hears. Your responsibility is to remain faithful in bringing things to Him, trusting that He knows about your situation and is working based on His Word.
May the God of the Bible bless you!
