There are some things we cannot change—for example, the color of our eyes, our age, or the things that happened yesterday. Yes, there are some things that, no matter what we try, we cannot change. However, there are things in our life that we do have the control to change. Perhaps you have felt as though you’ve lost control over some things. You see that your family is in shambles, your health is degrading, your mind is in constant torment, and you wonder if these things will ever end. Yes, they will, and this is how:

“Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed.” John 8:36

What is it that you need freedom from? What did you feel you could never change, no matter what? Today is your opportunity to be free, not momentary but permanent freedom. Imagine permanent freedom from this depression, this constant financial battle you’re facing, the problems in your marriage, the issues with your children, and so on. As you read this, you think of everything you wished you could have changed and never knew you had the power to.

It’s not all on you. Place those problems in God’s hands and allow Him to set you free. When He does, there will be no doubt about it because you will be free indeed.

May the God of the Bible Bless you!
