Do you remember when you were a child and you had a bad dream? The only thing that could remove the fear and get you back in your bed is when your mother or father assured you that it was just a dream and you shouldn’t be afraid.
You trusted in those words of assurance and you went right back to bed and you slept in peace!
Jesus wants us to have this same assurance when we face the nightmares of life: the depression, the sicknesses, family problems, addictions, losses etc.
These are His words of assurance:
Fear not,
(Isaiah 41:10)
for I am with you;
Be not dismayed,
for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Don’t be afraid of the problems you are facing in your life.
He is going to strengthen you today!
He is going to help you today!
He is going to uphold you today!
