Please… let me ask you an honest question. What is going on in your life right now? What is the problem that is stressing you and worrying you? Maybe you are going through financial problems because of having so much time off work. Or you are facing marriage problems, or health related issues, or inner battles like anxiety and depression.

Whatever the case may be, the next question is how are you responding to it? What are you doing about it? Are you just accepting that you have to live with it or have you already drawn the line so to speak, and determined that this problem has to get out of your life.

Life is not only about what happens to you, but how you respond to it. A response of faith is a response that is bold and demands results. It’s like the case of Gideon… when everything was falling apart around him and the Angel of the Lord appeared to him, he didn’t delay for a second to take the opportunity and state his case. Look at what the scriptures say,

Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about…”

(Judges 6:13)

God actually did not get mad at Gideon at all for speaking like this. He didn’t get mad because that was Gideon expressing his faith. By saying, “where are the miracles”, he was saying, “I believe that they happened, and that they can happen to me”. You need to express your faith in the same way. Don’t let the Word of God be like a fairytale in your life. Cry out to God and ask Him to bring His Words to life, in your own personal life. He is always ready to respond to those who use their faith.

May the God of the Bible bless you
