How do you measure success in someone? Most of the time, people measure success by a person’s title or position. I tell you, success is measured by Who is with you!
“The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.”
(Genesis 39:2,3)
Dear reader, when you have the Holy Spirit, everybody will see that God is with you. What do you think the Egyptian master was thinking in his mind? Of course he was thinking to himself, ‘I am buying a slave to work and serve me in my house,’ but he did not know just how precious that slave was to God. In his mind, he was simply buying one more slave. However, when we have the Spirit of God living inside of us, we are not just ‘one more.’
Your soul is precious to God, more than you can imagine. When you seek for God’s Spirit and make Him your priority, He makes you successful wherever you go and in whatever you do. It will not be something that you need to force. You will not have the need to run after any blessing, because God is with you.
Those who are precious to God, those who have the Holy Spirit, stand out in the crowd. They excel in what they do, for the glory of God and to honor His Holy name. You, yes you reading this now, you need to receive the Holy Spirit. When you seek Him with all of your strength, you will receive this Spirit of Excellence inside of you, and you will be the best at what you do. People around you will notice that there is something different about you – because God is with you.
The secret is to seek for the Spirit of God with all of your strength.
“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
(Matthew 6:33)
Focus on Him and He will prosper everything that you do.
