A group of friends went out for lunch and when it was time to pay, another group offered to pay the bill for them. Their response was; “it’s ok, we have enough.”
The truth is, to have enough to pay a bill at that moment, doesn’t equal abundance.
What if the same person who has enough at the restaurant, doesn’t have enough to pay the rent at the end of the month! Or what if the same person ends up driving on E for the next few days to work?
Having enough is not abundance!
But this is an attitude that has existed for many years. When Jacob returned to his father’s house, he offered Esau goods and he refused at first with the reply “I have enough!”
There is a clear difference between having enough and having ALL that you need!
Are you in need of a new life, a new relationship with your family, a new job, business, or perhaps a new spirit?
Now is the time to seek it from the Lord Jesus. Trade all your knowledge and power and empty yourself before the Lord. Exchange your will and your way for His infinite peace. Then you can truly say you have all you need, which is more than just enough.
May the God of the Bible bless you.
