What would you consider to be a happy and fulfilled life? Living in a luxurious home? Driving a top of the line car? Eating at any restaurant you want? Being married to the man of your dreams? What would qualify as an abundant life? Maybe you say, “all of these”. It’s true, but do you believe that you can have that type of life? Jesus once said,

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10

Whenever you read the Bible, you need to include yourself. I want you to read the verse again, but this time place yourself in there. For example, “Jesus has come, that I may have life, and that I may have it more abundantly”.

Jesus wants you to have life more abundantly. I know this verse is not new to you. You know this Bible verse, but you have not had life more abundantly. For you to have life more abundantly, you need to include yourself in this verse.

So far, you have had an abundance of problems. An abundance of medication, an abundance of bills to pay, an abundance of alcohol, an abundance of drugs, an abundance of suffering, of failed relationships. And so forth and so on. You have not had an abundance of blessings in your life. Not at all.

It is time for you to have an abundance.

One more year can not come and go and you never see the abundance of God’spower in your life. But for you to see His power, you must start and end the year in His presence. That is why this coming Monday we will have the Night of Flaming Fire Vigil to leave 2018 and break into 2019 with the Fire of God inside of us, which is the guarantee of a successful 2019.

If you want to have an abundance, you need to have it first inside, and after you can have it outwardly as well. Make sure you are in one of our churches around the world on New Year’s Eve.

May the God of the Bible Bless You
