What are some of the things you notice when people gossip? The first is probably that they speak softly in order to make sure that no one around can hear them.

The gossiper never goes to the rooftop to shout what they are gossiping about. The gossiper knows that his actions are wrong, and for this reason, he hides them.

But you are not a gossiper. And even if you were, you can stop being one today. What you speak is truth and what you ask is genuine. So you should never be afraid to speak out loud and make your request known. Especially to God.

There was a blind man in the Bible that I believe had the same mindset! I believe he told himself… “I will not whisper!”

Look at what happened:

Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” (Luke 18:39)

Those around wanted him to be quiet, but he did the total opposite. He cried out even more! Firstly, because he was in need of a solution to his problem and secondly because he was sure that his request was good and fair and reasonable.

What problems are you facing right now? Go ahead and cry out to the Lord. Don’t allow this problem to keep you quiet. You could be the next one to hear the following;

“Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” (Luke 18:42-43)

It’s a matter of faith and your faith is the key to your victory, so USE IT. Jesus wants to hear you.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
