Have you ever watched a movie with a superhero and then dreamed that you were that very same superhero?
What about when you were at a funeral, and that same night you went to sleep and had a nightmare about “death”. You woke up desperate, thankful to be alive!
If you’ve had a similar experience, you understand when we say that our brain is like a computer’s memory bank. If our minds are capable of storing so much information, then it’s obvious that we must be careful what kind of thoughts we entertain.
Most people ask themselves, “Is it normal to have evil thoughts?”
The answer is, yes, because we are human beings, we all have evil thoughts. However, if you allow those thoughts to be stored in your mind, sooner or later, you will be practicing those dirty thoughts that your mind has saved. So you need to delete all evil thoughts as they can lead to bad behavior.
God wants to guide our minds:
“For who has known the mind of the Lord that can instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:16)
Only the Holy Spirit can do what psychologists, doctors, preachers, deacons, or churches cannot do.
The Holy Spirit wants to direct your mind and heart. He wants to change your thoughts and give you a new mindset. Recognize that you need this change and commit to giving yourself to God.
May the God of the Bible bless you,
