You know, when you go to a doctor with a health problem, whether in your heart, your lungs, liver or whatever part that there is a problem, normally they use the machine to scan your body and go deep to see what is wrong. They need to find where the problem is. However, when you have a problem in your soul, no machine can find it. You can take an x-ray, CAT scan, MRI, you name it. But nothing will be able to find and diagnose this problem. Only the Spirit of God can go inside of your soul and heal it and rescue you.

It’s written:

As in water face reflects face, so a man’s heart reveals the man. Proverbs 27:19

The man’s heart (the soul) reveals what is in you. Your actions show what is in you. If you are always angry, you are always keeping things inside of you like bad feelings, grudges, memories of the past, etc, it shows that inside of you, you are bitter. If it was possible to literally do an x-ray of the soul we would find in many people’s life, anger, hate, bitterness and unhappiness. When the Holy Spirit comes inside of you, he transforms you from the inside out. My friend, take a cold hard look at yourself and see the truth about who you are. Don’t hide it, because God wants to give you His Spirit and help you change it once and for all.
