Have you had any coincidences happen in your life? Think about it: An illness that has passed on from one family member to the other and has been labeled as, “ bad genes.” Every time life seems to be getting better, something terrible happens.

Maybe you have even thought to yourself that it can’t be a coincidence. There is indeed something far more sinister at work.

“We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true…” 1 John 5: 19-20

What many have not yet realized is that there is evil at work in this world. This is not meant to bring fear but wisdom. After all, how can you overcome what you do not know? God gives us an understanding of how to overcome the works of evil.

Perhaps you have been a victim of evil and only now realize that all of those coincidences are a result of evil working in your life. Now, you can combat all the loses you have faced, the constant setback, recurring sicknesses, and family curses. You have the power to overcome because you know God, who is true and He gives you the victory.
