Who do you call when you’re in trouble? Maybe the image of that person popped into your head right now. That trusted friend, loyal brother or dependent parent. Perhaps you went with a more literal conclusion and thought of the authorities. In either case, you believe that when you are in trouble, you can call someone to help. However, there are situations that even the most loyal friend cannot help you with.

You may be in one of those situations right now. Maybe you are struggling with an addiction, your health is failing and doctors have given up. You can’t sleep at night, you are fighting with depression – and losing that battle! Who do you call?  Look at what the Word of God is telling you to do:

“Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Psalms 50

You are not alone. You may not want to tell anyone about what you’re going through, you may feel like no one has the answer, but the Bible says that when you call upon God, He will deliver you. Your call will not go unanswered and will certainly not be in vain.

God will glorify His name through your life. Your answer will come.

May the God of the Bible bless you!
