How many times have you heard a son or daughter complain that their parent didn’t have time for them?

For example, a young man that got caught up in a life of crime, and when you get the opportunity to speak with him, he explains that his father or mother wasn’t there for him. Before he went out with the friends and got into trouble, he tried to speak with his parents for the last time and again the reaction was the same, no time to listen.

For him the only option was to go out with the friends that seemed to have all the time in the world for him ( of course, to do wrong and of course the end results are never good).

God is the total opposite! He is not like the inattentive parent, nor like the attentive friend that misleads you.

The Word of God says,

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

(Jeremiah 29:12)

He is always attentive to our needs. That’s why it is clear that He encourages healthy communication between us and Him. Don’t complicate things; prayer is simply you speaking with Him. He is ready to listen to your cry for help.

Began by telling Him all that is affecting you right now, and I tell you this; the days of your suffering will end. Because He will not only listen, but will listen and respond.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
