Picture this: a couple that is planning to get married sends out invitations with the dress code and color scheme one year before the wedding date. But on the big day, a family member appears in shorts and a tank top. What do you think would be the bride and groom’s reaction? Bear in mind, this family member had all the time in the world to plan and is financially able to do better but chose to go like that. They simply decided to dress anyhow.
In life, whatever we do just anyhow never turns out well.
Think about the time you went to that job interview and spoke anyhow… Did you get the job? No. When you spoke to your parents anyhow… How did that turn out? Not good, right? When you drove that car anyhow, it got messed up quickly, and you had to waste money on it. When you took that test anyhow, you did not pass.
God is always trying to teach us lessons about not doing things any kind of way. We should put our best into whatever we do. There is actually a scripture that speaks exactly about that.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might;
Ecclesiastes 9:10
I do not think it gets any more clear than that!
My advice to you is that from now on, you take a look at how you do everything in life, not just spiritual things, but also in your job, health, family, and every area. Think hard about it, and see where you can put more strength. Then do it, and see the results of a blessed life.
May the God of the Bible bless you.
