Do you remember when you submitted yourself to the doctor for that operation? Remember when you had to sign those papers? At that very moment you were submitting your body to the doctor.
Remember when you had the first hit of marijuana? You submitted yourself to the person who introduced you to it.
Every time you take a bus or an Uber, you are submitting your life in the hands of that driver. You didn’t even ask for proof of driver’s license, you just got in with no questions asked.
If you can submit your life so freely into the hands of a stranger, why not submit your life into the mighty Hands of God?
This is what He is asking you to do. Notice that I said ‘asking’… because it is your decision to accept or reject His help. God doesn’t impose Himself onto anybody.
Therefore, submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:7
When it comes to war, when someone surrenders, waving a white flag, it is clear that they are submitting themselves into the hands of the other person or nation. In other words, they are saying, “you will get no more resistance from me”!
When you decide to submit to God, you are automatically resisting the devil and his life of suffering.
It is a matter of decision. And once you make yours, you will enjoy the benefits that come with submission to God.
You can go ahead right now and let God know; say to Him:
“I am here, I have been submitting myself to many things and many people, but they did not help me. Now I want to submit myself to You Lord.”
He will NOT reject you.
