Can you remember when you were a child and your parents used to have you sit on their lap while you pretended to drive the car?

Every so often you would say, I can’t wait to grow up so that I can really drive a car on my own! Look at you today, all grown up and driving your own car. Today there’s a clear difference between the ‘child you’, who was eager to do the things that only adults could do, (but had no idea how hard or dangerous those things would be), and the ‘adult you’ who wishes that you didn’t have to do many of the things that you do on the daily.

There is a clear difference between a child and an adult; there is a difference between one athlete and another, between one doctor and another, and there is certainly a clear difference between one Christian and another.

There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory. 1 Corinthians 15:41

We can all agree that this scripture is true and that it applies to our everyday life. There is a difference between people and people. But what makes this difference? Is it God? Is it race, gender, age, education level? No. Though all of these things do differentiate us, they do not make the biggest difference.

The biggest difference starts inside of you, and is shown by what you are willing to do. People who are different think different, and do things differently. They are not copy cats. They shine because of the light that is inside of them. And that light can only come from God.

The light of God. This is the secret to your life being clearly different in a positive way.

May the God of the Bible bless you.
