There are some wounds that are curable and there are others that neither time, care, nor medication can heal! These are the wounds of the soul.
They can be caused by betrayal, abuse, loss or deception. They’re caused by words or actions that injure, and seem as if there’s nothing that will ever close that wound!
Only the physician of our souls can heal these wounds. David was experiencing this very thing: his soul was wounded, he felt like he had no strength.
This was his prayer for HELP:
“For my soul is full of troubles, and my life draws near to the grave. I am counted with those who go down to the pit; I am like a man who has no strength.” (Psalm 88:3-4)
Perhaps this is your situation; your soul is wounded!
Do you need help?
Take a moment wherever you are right now, make your prayer for HELP! You don’t need to dress up your prayer! Just tell it like it is! Be true to yourself and be true to God!
He will not judge you and He will certainly not fail you!
May the God of the Bible bless you.
