There is a professional for everything we need in life. Mechanics to fix our car. Doctors to help heal our body. Law enforcement for times of danger. Even in the simplest of things, there is someone to help us. However, with all the help available, there is no one on Earth who specializes in healing the soul.
You may know the feeling. It seems everyone can help you with everything but the one thing you need most: your inner being. You feel alone, empty, incomplete and even depressed. There is no way to study the soul. In fact, the only One who truly holds the solution to our the biggest problem is God. The Bible says:
“Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” Isaiah 41:10
There is no tool to overcome fear and dismay; to uphold us when we feel as though everything is crumbling down. However, God tells us that we don’t have to go through it alone – or at all for that matter! You don’t have to feel that emptiness in your soul.
This type of help comes from God. He is telling us through His word that when we feel as though there is no one around who understands, who can help us, heal us from within and lift us up, we should turn to Him. After all, it is His specialty.
