Doctors study for almost a decade. There are years of studying, absorbing and practicing before receiving the title of “Doctor.” Of course, those who choose this profession know what they are getting into. Great expectations require great sacrifices.

This is the attitude to have when approaching God. Unfortunately, many are not prepared to take on this attitude of faith. With everything being so accessible, at the click of a button, it’s not easy to be patient anymore.

However, those who believe and trust in God do not get sidetracked by a delay or problem. Instead, they move forward, believing that their answer will come. It’s as the Word of God says:

“Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,” Habakkuk 3: 17-18

God works through faith, not magic. Nothing happens from night to day. When we act our faith, He responds. The problem is when the answer does not come immediately, many give up. Or when sacrifice is required, many turn away. This cannot be our case. When the Spirit of God lives within a person, He provides the assurance that God will answer.

Don’t miss out on the miracles of God because you are expecting magic. Put in the work. Put in the sacrifice. Use your faith and then you can enjoy the miracles of God.

Are you waiting on an answer from God? Perhaps He is waiting for you to use your faith!

May the God of the Bible bless you,

Bishop Bira Joshua
