Have you seen those TV programs where the boss goes undercover to put the workers to the test?
For example, that boss that enters his store looking like a beggar to see what kind of service the worker would give. Once the worker gives his best to serve the consumer no matter the appearance, the boss returns with a gift to honor that worker.
What about the person that goes to the supermarket and asks someone to pay for a bottle of water. Then once the person agrees to pay for the water, the person who asked turns around and pays for the other persons entire groceries!
Even the word of God supports this action.
“…‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ”
Acts 20:35
I understand that we are living in a crisis these days but don’t allow this world to harden your heart!
What do you need to give today? For many it’s not money, but something as simple as forgiveness, or an apology, or time with your wife or children.
Whatever you need to give, go ahead and give it. Because the wonderful thing about giving, is when it’s done with faith, you are sure to receive what you need from God.
