When Life Gives You Lemons… “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.” Usually said to make the best of a bad situation. We are often trained to find the good when life throws us hard moments but is this in fact, teaching us to accept the problems we have?
Perhaps your life has been a series of bad situations. It seems as if something or someone is blocking your life from progressing. It has been one failure after another. Despite your degrees your financial life is in ruins, your health is failing, your family is falling apart and internally you are destroyed. The Word of God is clear when it teaches us that we don’t have to accept these problems but instead hand them to the One who can handle them.
‘I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze And cut the bars of iron. Isaiah 45:2
God will break what has been the blockage in your life. He straightens your way so that you will no longer need to make a bad situation good, He will lead you to what is good. Place your life in God’s hands and allow Him to go before you.
Or keep on squeezing those lemons! I know what I would prefer.
