The essential characteristic of a good friend is honesty. They also support each other and are good listeners. And almost always, friends have similar interests.

Usually, you choose your friends because of the things you have in common. They are just like you, and you feel inspired just by being around them.

In contrast, bad company can affect your behavior and who you are. “Bad friends” want to do things their way and don’t respect your opinion. They  use unfair methods to get what they want. And being by their side can cause many problems for you because of their bad choices.

There is a saying: “Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.” We can say that your chosen friends define you, because you decide who your friends will be.

Imagine being friends with someone extraordinary who will never let you down… Someone who is kind and honest, who takes care of you and is also available to listen to you when you need… Who loves you without limits, and will respect your choices and guide you through to the right decisions. God is that kind of friend! And He wants to be your friend.

The Bible says:

“But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.” 1 Corinthians 6:17

The closer you are to Him, the more you will be like Him.

There is no sadness, depression, and pain inside, because God is with you, and He will protect you.

Friends are the family we choose and the people we trust. Choose God as your best friend. There are only benefits to this choice!

Having a best friend is good, but having God as your best friend is the best choice.

May the God of the Bible bless you,
