Once I heard an elderly lady complaining about the many tests that she had to get done. Her main complaint was having to go from doctor to doctor.
Based on her age and mobility issues I understand her frustration.
I’m sure it is not only elderly people who get frustrated about these kinds of things. But this is the reality of life.
We can all agree that we would want the best specialist taking care of us if we ever needed one. Imagine having a toothache and someone refers you to a dermatologist? That would be just plain crazy, right?
Such is the case when you have a sickness in your soul. There is only one Specialist that can fix this problem: The Lord Jesus Christ. Bear in mind that unlike doctors who study and specialize in a specific area of the body, our Lord Jesus specializes in everything. He is able to solve all your life’s matters, not just one.
Take a look at what King David did when he had a problem in his soul:
O my God, my soul is cast down within me; Therefore I will remember You from the land of the Jordan, And from the heights of Hermon.
Psalm 42:6
After he identified the problem, he cried out to the Lord, because he remembered that the Lord was able to help him.
This is a reminder to you… no matter what you are facing right now, call on the Lord, because He is able to fix your whole life. There is nothing impossible for Him!
Go ahead and do what King David did. You don’t need to suffer another day.
