Do you know anyone who has been placed on an organ waiting list? For example, someone that needs a heart transplant? For them to be on that list, they’ve probably exhausted all other options such as changing their diet, doing exercise and getting a pacemaker.
However, in spite of all those efforts, they were told by the doctor that only a heart transplant can save their life, because their heart could not be repaired – it needed replacing. If the doctor tells them that there is a healthy heart ready for them and all they need to do is turn up for the surgery, do you think that this person would accept or reject that offer?
I have no doubts that this person would accept the offer at that same moment. Why? Because a new heart would bring new opportunities and a new life. Who doesn’t want that?
Take a look at the Bible verse below:
“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26
The heart this verse is referring to is not the actual organ but the desires of the flesh that are damaging your life. It’s the hatred, anger, pride, resentment, etc. The surgery needed to get rid of these things is a spiritual heart transplant.

No doctor can perform a surgery without your authorization and the same is with God. He will not force you to accept this new heart, it is up to you!
If you allow Him to, He will exchange your old, hardened heart for a brand new one. You will have a new heart that comes with new opportunities and a brand-new life!
