What are you wearing right now? What did you havefor breakfast? What will you have for dinner?
Where will you go today? What will you do today or tomorrow?
Who can answer any of these questions besides you yourself? Always pay attention to the fact that you decided to wear, eat, go and do whatever you do or did. It was your decision and you made it. This is a power that all human beings have… the power to decide.
One man used that power wisely and reaped great results through it.
Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.” (Luke 19:8)
Who told him to do this? No one! He knew that his life and the wrong things he was doing and decided to change.
What about you? I am sure you know what things you need to change and I will not try to tell you, because it’s your decision.
But one thing I can assure you of is this… when you decide to change, the Lord Jesus will help you. After Zacchaeus made the decision to fix things, Jesus immediately spoke highly of him and his decision. And guess what… He wants to speak highly of you. Just make the right decisions and He will.
