How many parents are suffering today because of their children? The child that is in prison or lost their life whilst young because of a bad decision.
Then the parent is left confused about how the childended up that way if they told them so many times not to go down that path.
Maybe this can help you understand this situation…
It is not enough to give good advise. As a whole, people learn better by example.
What I’m saying is that people catch on faster by viewing something then they do by just hearing it.
That’s why this Bible verse says:
Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him. (Isaiah 51:2)
It says LOOK to, it does not say listen to… This is the message I want to leave with you today… what works best is when you show the good example, live the good example, be the good example. Don’t just give good advise.
And the greatest example that we can look to is the example that The Heavenly Father showed us. He loved us so much that He GAVE (action) His only son for us!
When we follow the example of Jesus, we will show our family and friends a good example everyday.
