This world is full of fast ways.
Every single day you see express ways on the highway, fast lines in the airport, fast food, faster internet. Everyone wants things faster.
But with God it doesn’t happen this way. God does not work overnight or in a fast way. When Jesus said “I am the way,” He was saying My example, which was sacrifice and hard work is the way to life and success.
The Lord Jesus was 33 years old when He was crucified? My question is, why wait for 33 years to save the world? Why couldn’t He be born and just die right away? Why wait for 33 years? Because God has His time, and His schedule.
Couldn’t He create the entire world in one day? Why take six days? Didn’t He have power to create everything in one day? Or in just one hour? In the blink of an eye, He could have created everything! He had and has power to do it!
But He was showing us the right way.
The same happens with your blessings. If you receive the blessing before time it becomes a curse in your life, or you lose it. As they say, “easy come, easy go!”
The world wants a quick fix, but God does not work with quick fixes. The way of God is step by step, sacrifice and effort.
Look at this example… this man waited patiently and saw the results.
And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel… And when the parents brought in the Child Jesus… he took Him up in his arms and blessed God and said: “Lord, now You are letting Your servant depart in peace, According to Your word; For my eyes have seen Your salvation. Luke 2:25-30
If you do your part, and patiently wait on the Lord… Your eyes will see the results.
