Many of us have experienced the feeling of being less than good enough or strong enough for something. It’s like a man who walks inside of a job interview and immediately realizes that he is not qualified for the position. He looks around and sees many other people who are much better prepared for that position than he himself. Perhaps at that moment, he is the least qualified in the room.
Now just imagine with me for a moment, if that person who was the least qualified actually got a high ranking position in that company. Everyone would be shocked and amazed, but he would be the most!
God loves to take people who are the least and make them great. That’s exactly what He did with Gideon. When the Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said these words,
“O my Lord, how can I save Israel? Indeed my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.”
(Judges 6:15)
Through his words you can clearly see that Gideon didn’t see himself as much of anything. And many of you don’t see yourself as much of anything either. Many of you are full of fears and complexes. But let me tell you something. None of those fears or complexes or doubts or worries have to stop you. They have slowed you down until now, but you can overcome them. The Lord Jesus will give you the strength to overcome.
God wants to take you from the least and make you one of the greatest in the world, so that He can receive glory from it. But it will take bold and decisive actions on your part to make it happen. Are you ready for the challenge to overcome yourself, your fears, and everything else that has held you back? If so, then God is about to change your life in a big way!
May the God of the Bible bless you
