What is car insurance for? Actually what is any kind of insurance for? Insurance is for protection. Even athletes have insurance to cover them incase they get injured and can not play. But no insurance covers one hundred percent. The policy always has limitations and exclusions.

Yet there is one insurance policy that is truly full coverage. That policy comes from God and God alone. When you look at Psalm 91 for example, you see the promise of full and total protection.

A thousand may fall at your side,

And ten thousand at your right hand;

But it shall not come near you.

Psalm 91:7

Almost everyone knows Psalm 91. Whether Catholic or Protestant, gang member or choir member, everybody believes and even quotes this psalm. But how many people are seeing the reality of it in their life? Most people who say that they believe in the Word of God are not seeing it in their life.

We see this clearly during times of crisis, as we are now living in. So many people are suffering and their faith is even failing. But the psalm says, “it shall not come near you.” So why is their faith failing? The only way to explain it is that they are not yet dwelling in the “secret place” of the Most High.

When you are close to God, He has your back. He takes care of you. He is your assurance and insurance. Even though you have your life in this world, your dependency is on God. When I put total trust in Him, I know I am safe. Not that I will never go through any hard times or experience something bad, but even if it comes, God will make it work out for my best, if I am faithful to Him.

Right now what is needed, is to place your life in God’s hands. Dwell in His secret place, through faith. Place your life inside of the sanctuary through offering it to God one hundred percent. And when you give it one hundred percent, He will have you covered one hundred percent. I’m talking 100% full coverage.

May the God of the Bible bless you
