If we want to achieve anything in life, we have to put in the work.
For a medical student to become a successful doctor, he has to sacrifice those long nights studying. For an athlete to get the gold medal, he must train and be focused. Any and every achievement requires effort.
It is no different with God. God is not a magician that He will perform a magic trick and give you everything you want. Although He is powerful and capable of doing so, He does not do what you are capable of doing.
This is how it goes: when we do our part, God does His. When you act, God will react. He will work in a partnership with you, but the first step is not His – it is yours!
“Whatever your hand finds to do, do with all your strength.” (Ecclesiastes 9:10)
You are the one that will take that first step of faith. You are the one that will give your absolute best to God in everything that you do. You are the one that will trust, and once you have done all you could do, He will do what you cannot do.
“And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.” (Romans 4:21)
Move, and God will move with you. Do not worry about what you do not have power to change. Do what you need to do, and God will do what you cannot do.
May the God of the Bible bless you
